Dear Followers!
I recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the Komen Northeastern New York Race for the Cure® on October 1, 2011 in the fight against breast cancer. The Komen Race for the Cure® Series is the largest series of 5K run/ walks in the world. Since its origination in Dallas in 1983, the Komen Race for the Cure® Series has grown from one local race with 800 participants to an international series of 117 races with more than 1.3 million participants.
One in eight women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime and the more we raise, the more we can give back to fund vital breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in our own community and support the national search for a cure.
I am participating in the Race as part of the Albany Law School Team with the hopes of raising as much money as possible to provide for research programs in our area. Our team is close to reaching our fundraising goal whatever you might be able to give you be an amazing help! I truly appreciate your support!
